About Us
The Georgia Association for Home Health Agencies, Inc. (GAHHA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1979. GAHHA represents Medicare/Medicaid-certified and licensed home health agencies in Georgia that serve over 145,000 home health and hospice patients and employ in excess of 85,000 Georgia residents in home health alone. GAHHA provides an organized voice statewide, regionally, and nationally for home care providers.
Our Mission
To represent Georgia’s home health, hospice and other licensed providers that deliver care and support services to patients and families in the home. We serve as a unified voice in Georgia by providing education, knowledge, support and leadership to our members.
GAHHA fosters high standards of home care through education of providers. We monitor both State and Federal legislation and regulations to inform members of the potential impact on home care. GAHHA interacts with state agencies in order to maintain input in home care related policy making.
